A New Day

So today, the sun is shinning, the birds are singing and it's a good day. Hopefully Christmas cards and graduation announcements will be going out today, along with photos, IF I get them printed this morning. Lots to do, not enough time to do it all, but going to twitch my nose and work in fast mode. Lord give me some speed to my actions today!!!

Time to wake up that sleeping kid Anna and get the day started. Let's get this party started.

Something I found this morning

Found this yellow colored mushroom under my porch this morning. It kind of reminded me of one of the dancing muchrooms from the movie Fantasia. Crazy, I know. ;) At any rate, I think it's pretty and I like the way it's tilting towards the morning sun.

Friday

Anna's bunnies are so cute. We have 5 rabbits running around in our yard right now. It's so sweet to see them chasing each other around in the mornings.

Anna was taking pictures yesterday and took this one of my flowers. I don't know what these are called. Anna gave them to me for my birthday and they have grown into a bush! Beautiful flowers. :) Great picture Anna!

Old Times

Just thinking about when everyone was still at home. I really miss those times.

And on a brighter note. I think it's time to get everyone together for another family photo. Anna and Jacob have changed a lot since the last family picture. Time for a new one!

Friday!

So glad it's Friday. I don't know why it makes me so happy. I don't work outside the home so it's not like I look forward to a day off. Every day is a work day. Perhaps it's because everyone else is off and the weekend is a change of pace. ;)

It's a hair & shopping day!

Got up early this morning and went for a new haircut. It's so cute! Abby has the day off because she's sick. I made a Doctors appt. for her but now she has decided we need to go shopping. How sick is that? LOL Now for shopping!

Later in the day, she changed her mind and went to the doctor... then shopping! ;) Some kind of intestinal / gastro / inflamation / infection. I know it has a name, but can't think what is was called.

*shrug* idk

One of Anna's creations. She's creative! What really amazes me is that she probably put this together in about 10 minutes; 2 minutes of drawing and the rest adding music and getting it onto Youtube. wow!

The strangest things happen

My daughter Anna loves animals, of all kinds. Her latest collection are two box turtles that we picked up while they were crossing the road. We found them on different days, but almost in the exact place. They are the same species of turtle but their coloring is different. Anna informed me that one was a male and one a female. Well, today she was proved correct. I had no clue turtles would breed in captivity, especially not in our captive little plastic box. And so, we should be the proud parents of baby turtles in an unknown amount of days.

Top 3 kids registered & ready to start classes at 3 different colleges. Spreading the money around! I'm ready to start my classes too, only need those books.

The order this semester is... The letter Z goes in the middle of the lineup. Not too bad.

So cold outside! Feels like we live in Michigan again. Anna & I got her room organized & went back to the wood burning stove to warm up. Now for some hot chocolate!
